Fat tyres, real torque, and full beach approval - the Phantom Scrambler is our dedicated beach-riding e-bike, made for cruising Byron's coastline where the road runs out and the sand takes over.

Where you can ride

• Main Beach - cruise east towards the Byron Lighthouse as far as 'The Pass' boat ramp (tide & sand dependent)
• Tallows Beach - stretch it out along one of Byron's longest, least crowded beaches, all the way to Suffolk Park and Broken Head
• Belongil Beach - head north for a quieter ride and a coffee stop at the Treehouse Cafe.

Wide fat tyres make beach riding easier - something a standard hire bike simply can't do.

FAQ

Is beach riding actually legal in Byron Bay? Yes - on the Phantom Scrambler, our fat tyre e-bike, beach riding is allowed and supported. Just stick to firm, sand for the best (and safest) ride and please stay out of the salt water.

Can any of your e-bikes ride on the beach? Beach riding is permitted on the Phantom Scrambler only. Our other models (Flame, Camo, Pocket Rocket) are for road and pathway use.

Will the e-bike get stuck in soft sand? The Phantom Scrambler's fat tyres are specifically chosen to handle sand far better than a standard bike - but like any beach ride, stick to the firmer sand for the smoothest experience.

Can I ride two-up on the beach? Yes - the Phantom Scrambler comfortably seats two and handles beach riding well.
