E-Bike Hire Waiver and Release of Liability

By hiring an e-bike from Ghost Rider Bikes you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Assumption of Risk

Riding an e-bike involves risks, including but not limited to:

  • Collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, or other cyclists.
  • Falls or loss of control.
  • Hazards caused by weather, road surfaces, or unexpected obstacles.

By hiring an e-bike, you agree to take full responsibility for your safety and well-being while using the equipment.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

By proceeding with your hire, you waive and releaseGhost Rider Bikes its owners, employees, and agents from any liability for:

  • Injuries or damages sustained during the use of the e-bike.
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings.
  • Breach of local road and traffic rules.

3. Hirer Responsibilities

When hiring and using our e-bikes, you agree to:

  • Wear a helmet at all times while riding (in accordance with NSW law).
  • Follow all road rules and local traffic regulations.
  • Inspect the e-bike before use and notify us of any concerns.
  • Ride responsibly and avoid reckless or dangerous behavior.

You also confirm that you are:

  • Physically capable of operating an e-bike safely.
  • Of legal age to hire and ride an e-bike (minimum age: [insert age, e.g., 18 years]).

4. Damage, Loss, or Theft

As the hirer, you are fully responsible for the care of the e-bike during the hire period. You agree to cover costs for:

This waiver is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
